Even today the Bible continues to inspire men and women to achieve the unique and wonderful things that make our country great. The National Bible Association recognizes these men and women for their accomplishments through the granting of Recognition Awards that shine a spotlight on the impact of the Bible in public life.
Some of these awards include the annual Witherspoon Award which honors a Chaplain of the Armed Services, the Capitol Hill Award which honors a Senator and Congressperson each year for their commitment to Bible reading, and the Kupferman Award which recognizes judges who – following a long and rich national tradition – quote the Bible in their decisions.
