Emmanuel A. Kampouris

Mr. Kampouris is the retired Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of American Standard Companies, Inc.

By the end of 1999 Mr. Kampouris capped his 35-year career with American Standard by leading the company to record sales of $7.2 billion.

Upon his retirement in 2000, he founded the Emmanuel Foundation and the Kairos Journal, an online Magazine which seeks to embolden, and support church leaders as they strive to transform the moral conscience of their culture and restore the prophetic voice of the Church.

At the end of this year Mr. Kampouris will launch his latest initiative, BibleMesh, an on-line interactive Bible Survey Course, in an effort to address Biblical illiteracy worldwide. BibleMesh will be translated into 10 languages.

Mr. Kampouris serves on the boards of Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield NJ, and Alticor Inc. (Amway Corp.). He is a Trustee of Hudson Institute (Emeritus), and has served on the boards of Stanley Works., Click Commerce Inc., the U.S. Chamber of Commerce (1994-2001), the National Endowment for Democracy, and the Eisenhower Exchange Fellowships. He is also a member of the Economic Club of New York, the Oxford Law Society and a past member of Oxford University Council for the School of Management Studies.

Mr. Kampouris earned an MA in law from Oxford University, and a Degree in Ceramic Technology from North Staffordshire College of Technology, Stoke-on-Trent, England.
