NATIONAL BIBLE WEEK 2010:
Sunday, November 21 through Sunday, November 28.
WHAT IS NATIONAL BIBLE WEEK?
National Bible Association’s signature event has been celebrated the week of Thanksgiving every year since 1941. Our goal is to raise awareness of the Bible’s importance and relevance to our nation as a whole, as well as in the lives of individuals.
COMMEMORATING 2010 NATIONAL BIBLE WEEK:
INTERFAITH CONCERT OF PRAISE
A night of worship for God’s Word will be held at the Basilica of the Assumption in Baltimore, MD on November 21st at 6 pm. Choirs and individual singers will honor the Word of God from many of the Judeo-Christian traditions.
PUBLIC BIBLE READING
On November 22nd at noon, we will invite political, civic and religious leaders to gather and read the Bible publicly from the balcony of Baltimore City Hall.
(If you would like to participate in your area, simply get a small or large group together at your house of worship, workplace, home, or other location to read the Bible aloud.)
