The National Bible Cities Project is a program of the National Bible Association to focus our efforts for National Bible Week in specific target cities each year.
Each year, one city is named The National Bible City. A National Bible City is led by a local committee who raise National Bible Week Awareness in four ways:
1. Recognition - Recognize leaders who encourage Bible reading throughout their community
2. Media - Raise awareness through radio, newspapers, and television
3. Literature - Distribute free National Bible Week materials to everyone
4. Political - Work with the Governor and Mayor to officially proclaim National Bible Week
For 2008, we focused on Johnson City, TN-The National Bible City, and Seattle, WA.
The 2008 National Bible Week Activity Report is coming soon!
